DUTY OF CANDOUR ANNUAL SUMMARY
At GR-Aesthetics, we are committed to providing safe, honest, and high-quality care to all of our clients.
In Scotland, all healthcare providers are legally required to follow the Duty of Candour. This means that if something goes wrong in your care, we will be open and honest with you about what happened, offer a sincere apology, and take steps to learn and improve.
As part of this duty, we publish a brief annual report to share how we've met these responsibilities.
Reporting period:
1st April 2024 – 31st March 2025
Have there been any incidents where the Duty of Candour applied?
We are pleased to report that there have been no such incidents at GR-Aesthetics during this period.
Our policies and approach
If something were to happen that met the criteria for the Duty of Candour, the appropriate procedure would be followed promptly and professionally. This would include informing the person affected, offering support, conducting a review to understand what went wrong, and putting improvements in place to prevent it happening again.
As a sole practitioner and registered nurse, I remain fully up to date with all relevant professional guidance, and I am committed to reflecting and learning continuously to maintain the highest standards of care.
